Awesome news, everyone! Remember the video contest we put together, asking everyone to share there best memories and thoughts about our beautiful village by the sea? With your much-appreciated help, Visit Carlsbad was honored with a Poppy Award in the Best Digital/Social Media Initiative category for that “Carlsbad is where…” campaign! Our campaign beat out entries from all over California.
The Poppy Awards honor destinations and attractions in California for outstanding advertising, marketing and public relations programs. Each entry was judged by a panel of industry experts and selected winners in five categories: Best Digital/Social Media Initiative, Best Regional Collaborative Marketing Campaign, Committed to Tourism, Best Public Relations Campaign, and Best Overall Marketing Campaign. And they honored us!
